Working: A Musical is based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, and has been nominated for six Tony Awards.
 

Written by composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Godspell) and including numbers by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana) and James Taylor, Working combines incredible music and true stories uplifting the stories of ordinary workers in all their strength, struggle, impact and hilarity.

 

With vivid portraits of the workers we take for granted: the waitress, millworker, mason, and housewife.  It's a truly magical piece of musical storytelling. 

 

Brought to you by Hanford's Drama III class, this performance is approximately 65 minutes, with no intermission.
