Who we are
A fun (really!) group of parents and community members who help power the numerous productions and activities of the Hanford Drama Program.
What we do
Put simply, we provide additional manpower to free up our drama directors’ time so that they can focus more on our students and the creative process. Each school year, the Drama Boosters:
Raise money to directly support students and activities that enhance drama education and experiences
Lend time and expertise to support each show “behind-the-scenes”: i.e., set construction, costuming, sound, lighting and more
Organize and staff concession sales, cast meals, and events such as the annual picnic and spring fundraiser
What our fundraising supports

Special guest educators for workshops and specialty courses

Travel costs for events like the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon, and drama competitions around the state

College scholarships for drama students looking to further their arts education

Lunches and dinners for when students and parents are working weekends and nights to make the shows happen!

It’s so easy! To join our booster organization, simply submit the form below and pay the $20 membership fee. (These fees give us a quick and easy way for us to immediately support all the activities above.)
NOTE: Joining boosters doesn’t mean you have to come to all our meetings (unless of course you want to). And it doesn’t mean you have to volunteer to help with every show (although we’d love to have you). The more you can support us the more we can support our students, but if all you can do right now is give us money, we’ll gladly take it!
