Hanford Drama College Scholarships

There are three types of college scholarships you may apply for as a graduating senior of the Hanford Drama program:
Drama Citizen Scholarship: Awarded to a senior who has participated in at least half the productions (onstage and/or backstage) during their time at Hanford and who will be attending a four-year college. The criteria for the award are leadership, scholarship, and financial need. Typically, multiple awards are given ranging from $500 to $5,000.
Thespian Scholarship: Awarded to a senior who will major or minor in drama or a drama-related field while at college. The criteria for the award are financial need and participation in Hanford Drama. This scholarship may be awarded either as single or multiple awards.
Ruth Richman Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a senior who has made outstanding contributions to the Hanford Drama program in the area of technical theatre. Recipients must be attending, after graduation, an accredited, nonprofit, post-secondary educational program (including, but not limited to, a four-year college/university, community college, technical/vocational training program). Online-only institutions will not qualify for this award. One $500 award will be given annually, via a guaranteed donation. Should additional funds become available through additional donations, the possibility of additional awards may be entertained.
